I find the image to the left really funny. I'm sorry, but I look at it, and I just laugh. Okay, okay, let's be serious, though. Sometimes, I watch the The Filipino Channel (TFC, wow, shcoker.) with my mom and it's just like American television. Everything's a competition and entertainment. I hate watching people get embarrassed on television. It's like, they got more that they bargained for. If they choose to embarass themselves on national television, then so be it. But one day, they'll get older and realize that it's stupid. Then, their kids are are going to see it. Oh, it's just going to be a big mess. Filipinos also like drama, too. Overexaggerated drama. It's amazing how we come up with this story line. Every drama I watched with my mom, someone has to get hit by a car. Do people frequently get hit by cars in the Philippines? Seriously, it's amazing. There also always have to be girl fights and hair-pulling. And people who fall in love, but are torn apart by a force, then they reunite. ALWAYS. In every single Filipino drama that I have watched with my mom, that has happened. If not, then it's a game show or the news. There's a segment in their news that throws me way off. It's a segment dedicated to the actors; who's dating who, who broke up with who. It's madness.OMFGZZ, FINALS. I need to study for that. Like, SUPERSTUDY. I want to overachieve this year and stop slacking off. But I can't. I'm get older. It's impossible. I like how I just wrote random things about me in a MySpace blog for an hour and a half. Aside finals, I have to memorise my lines for Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN). I'm going to play the mother, which gives me a wonderful chance to get my pointless imitations of my mother into action!
This blog will be awfully short, on account of dinner, then studying. *ahem, SUPERSTUDYING. I just wanted to point out the things I love about Filipinos, haha.
Cheers xoxo .
